Clint Smith, P.E., is currently the CTO for Rivada Networks and has extensive experience in all aspects of fixed and mobile wireless telecommunications, including senior management, system design, project management, budgeting, implementation, operations, and sales. He is the author of several books published by McGraw-Hill, including Wireless Network Performance Handbook, 3G Wireless Networks, and Wireless Telecommunications FAQs. Mr. Smith has been awarded numerous patents related to wireless mobility and public safety. He also has specific design and operational experience with LTE, CDMA/1xRTT/EVDO, GSM/GPRS/EDGE, WCDMA/HSPA, TDMA, iDEN, AMPS, LMDS, WiMAX, WiFi, Microwave PtP, and public safety communications systems.

Daniel Collins, a 20-year veteran of the wireless communications industry, is currently Chief Technology Officer--Wireless at Jasper Wireless, Inc. He began his career at Ericsson, where he worked in product development and product management roles and helped develop some of the world's earliest GSM networks. Mr. Collins also served as an independent consultant for many years on 2.5G, 3G, and IP technologies to tier-one service providers around the world, and worked with Alcatel North America as Vice President of Fixed Mobile Convergence. He is the co-author of Carrier-Grade VoIP, published by McGraw-Hill.
