Her stories impart lessons about science, nature, friendship, feminism, and social values through whimsical storylines and lovable characters. She lives in Los Angeles, California with her husband and son.Miray, Yalcinkaya: - Miray Yalcinkaya is a visual designer/ illustrator who has a passion for magical nature and designing for children. She has a background in interior architecture and worked in Istanbul in the field until starting a digital agency with another daydreamer which focused on web design, digital illustrations for books and apps. She is the creative director of Unita, a shared work-space and a creative community in Los Angeles that they opened in 2017 with her husband along with their friends.
