Contributor Bio(s): The Burlington Historical Society: - The Burlington Historical Society was organized in 1928 as the first such group in Racine County and is dedicated to the preservation and presentation of Burlington s history. As vice president of the society, author Donald Vande Sand does extensive historical and genealogical research relating to Burlington and the surrounding areas. Co-author Dennis Tully is a member of the board of directors and is currently creating digital archives of the society s collections. |
