Alan Greenspan was chairman of the Federal Reserve from 1987 until his retirement in 2006. He currently works as a private advisor and provides consulting for firms through his company, Greenspan Associates. In 2005 he was conferred the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the highest civilian award in the United States.

Branden, Nathaniel: -

Dr. Nathaniel Branden is the author of numerous books on the psychology of self-esteem, romantic love, and the life and thought of Objectivist philosopher Ayn Rand. His work has been translated into eighteen languages and has sold more than four million copies. Some of his popular titles include Taking Responsibility, The Six Pillars of Self-Esteem, and My Years with Ayn Rand. In addition to his work as a writer, Branden has also worked as a lecturer, therapist, and corporate business consultant. He is the founder and executive director of The Branden Institute for Self-Esteem, a counseling center in Los Angeles, California.

Hessen, Robert: -

Robert Hessen, a senior research fellow at the Hoover Institution, is a historian and author specializing in American economic and business history. He received a BA from Queens College, his MA from Harvard University, and his PhD from Columbia University. He lectures frequently to business and academic audiences on government regulation of industry and has testified before congressional committees. His articles, commentaries, and reviews have appeared in many scholarly and popular publications, including the New York Times, Barron's, Business History Review, Labor History, the Hastings Law Journal, and the Journal of Law and Economics. Hessen is also the general editor of the Hoover Archival Documentaries, a multivolume series that publishes historically significant materials from the archives of the Hoover Institution.

Fields, Anna: -

Anna Fields (1965-2006), winner of more than a dozen Earphones Awards and the prestigious Audie Award in 2004, was one of the most respected narrators in the industry. Trained at the Actors Theatre of Louisville, she was also a director, producer, and technician at her own studio, Cedar House Audio.

Rand, Ayn: -

Ayn Rand (1905-1982) was born in Russia, graduated from the University of Leningrad, and came to the United States in 1926. She published her first novel in 1936. With the publication of The Fountainhead in 1943, she achieved a spectacular and enduring success, and her unique philosophy, Objectivism, gained a worldwide following.
