Stacia Spragg-Braude is an award-winning photojournalist and farmer in New Mexico, where she worked for several years as a staff photographer for the Albuquerque Tribune. During the last ten years she has developed a deep friendship with the Begay family while photographing and interviewing them. Excerpts from To Walk in Beauty have received numerous awards, including being named a 2006 W. Eugene Smith Grant finalist.
