new circumstances. She is taken to the court of the Pharaoh and befriends some children of the court.

Susan travels up the Nile with Pharaoh until disaster strikes. Everything changes for Susan and Egypt
in an instant and she must strive to keep hope alive that she will eventually return home.There are
many tense moments in her life as she wrestles between home-sickness and finding her place in
Egyptian society.Only her daring and her friendships help her through.
