Publisher Description:
Seventeen years ago, Ebenezer Scrooge was visited by three spirits in the middle of the night, each with the same mission to see the old miser redeemed. Were they angels? Through a painstaking journey through the past, present and future, Ebenezer faced the terrifying truths of his existence and woke up the next morning a new man, putting aside his love of money and embracing instead the love of mankind and charity. Now, new mysteries unfold as Ebenezer faces the challenges of being daily rejected as a lunatic or revered as a spiritual leader. The wheels in his head turn when his nephew Fred asks the ultimate question, "Uncle, do you think the apparitions were ghosts or spirits? Angels? Or just a dream?" Tiny Tim, now married with a fourmonth old daughter, suddenly fears he is being watched and by who or what, he doesn't know. Yet, when he sees a dark figure out his window of his modest home, his health starts to slip as it did in his youth. A familiar looking young boy bumps into Mr. Scrooge who is always seen travelling alone. After Ebenezer takes a liking to little Jack, the child reveals that he is more than he seems and takes the old man to a place where all of life's possibilities are stored. As the story reaches a climax, Jack teaches Mr. Scrooge the importance of letting the past go and embracing the purpose he was truly designed by God to fulfill.
