Publisher Description:

'A part of me died last week.
But, alhamdulillah, it wasn't hope. It wasn't courage. And it definitely wasn't faith and trust in my Lord's perfect plan.'

When Na'ima B. Robert's husband of sixteen years returned to his Lord in the spring of 2015, her world changed forever. Struggling to deal with her grief, bewildered, in pain and, unable to sleep, Na'ima turned to her pen for solace and support.

These are the words she wrote: beautifully honest, exquisitely raw and, ultimately, profoundly redemptive. These are the words that saved her life, and they could save yours.

Through this collection of poetry and prose, Na'ima reaches out to those who have loved and lost, and calls on us to cherish the gifts we have while we still have them -- our spouses, our children, and our very lives.

Join one widow on her transformational journey through her 'iddah and prepare to be touched to the core.
