Publisher Description:

This is Book 1 in a series. Book 1 includes the Parasha readings 1 to 12 in the yearly cycle.

How to use this book:

These worksheets have been especially designed for easy use by Messianic Jewish Children in the Synagogue, a church, or in a home setting. They are great for homeschool use as well.

Each lesson has 3 parts; a Torah, a Haftara and a B'rit Hadashah.

The main page of each part is the instruction page. This is not intended to replace the actual reading of the portion but to be a tool that can be used to summarise the readings and find a few key messages from the readings.

The activity page relates to the lesson and is intended to be used to reinforce the messages. This page caters to a wide age group, as there is always a picture to colour and a more difficult activity. Each activity sheet ranges in difficulty level dependant on the lesson. There is an answer page at the back of the book if you get stuck.

Contributor Bio(s): McCallion, Belinda: - Belinda is an Early Childhood Educator and Children's book writer from Tauranga, New Zealand. She has a passion for studying the Torah as the basis for understanding the heart of ADONAI towards His people, both in the Tanakh, as well as the words of Yeshua and the apostles. As a mother and educator, she also has a desire for children to be able to learn and understand the Word of ADONAI in a world where distractions come easily. It was on her heart to write engaging children's lessons to go with the weekly Torah portions. These lessons are designed primarily as a teachers tool to help adults deliver the messages of the Torah to children in a memorable way.
