Contributor Bio(s): Daly-Lipe, Patricia: - Dr. Patricia Daly-Lipe is an multiple award winning author, artist and coveted speaker. Born in La Jolla, California, Daly-Lipe spent half of her childhood in Washington, D.C., the home of several generations of her mother's family. In 1961, after her mother passed away when Daly-Lipe was just 18 years old, she returned to Vassar College with a year at the Catholic University of Louvain, Belgium, and earned a B.A. degree in Philosophy. She also completed a Masters degree followed by a PhD. Patricia has taught English and writing, written for magazines, had a newspaper column, and sold many of her paintings. In 2017 Patricia received a "Lifetime of achievement and success" award from IAOTP (International Association of Top Professionals). As a single parent of three children, she raised, raced, and rescued thoroughbred horses, thus the inspiration to write Horse Tales.
