Contributor Bio(s): Bauer, Wolfgang: - Dr. Wolfgang Bauer is a Professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Michigan State University and has a joint appointment at the National Superconducting Cyclotron Laboratory. His research is in theoretical and computational physics, with emphasis areas in nuclear and astrophysics, chaos and non-linear dynamics, and renewable energies. He also serves as Chair of the Department of Physics and Astronomy and is Director of the Institute for Cyber-Enabled Research.Westfall, Gary: - Dr. Gary Westfall is a Professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Michigan State University. He is conducting his research in experimental nuclear physics at the National Superconducting Cyclotron Laboratory (NSCL), where he has a joint appointment. He also does research at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC) at Brookhaven National Laboratory as a member the STAR Collaboration.
