Publisher Description:
When life deals us a bad hand, and it seems unfair, how do we deal with it? This book is about my life as a child growing up with a disability left from a devastating car crash in 1986. On lookers said they did not know how anyone came out of the wreckage alive. In a coma fighting for my life, doctors were not optimistic. It was said that if I did live I would be a cabbage in a wheelchair forever. Through hard work and sheer questionable determination I have gone on to reclaim my life. Learning to walk, talk, laugh, and get fit again is all well and good, but things started to get too much to bear. Depression struck and then thoughts of suicide terrorised my mind, leaving me On The Edge. After being prescribed antidepressants because my GP thought I was going to kill myself was like a wakeup call. I have used the study of spirituality, and in particular Kabbalah to dig myself out from the dark hole I found myself in and redirect my path towards the Light. From being in China teaching English to children one year, to reciting prayers in Hebrew with Madonna the next. The following year I found myself in Greece on a writing course that has led to this book. You simply don't know what life is going to throw at you next. If you want to read a real harrowing life inspiring story then this is for you.
