About the Author

Zepora Bastian Certain was born and raised in Jamaica Queens, New York, one of ten children. After proudly serving her country in the Persian Gulf War, she was honorably discharged and began her educational career, which included a B.S. in Accounting, M.B.A in Management and M.S.A.C. in Accounting Controllership. She enjoys volunteering in her community and has even travelled to Honduras to be a blessing to others. Having been a victim of domestic violence herself and seeing firsthand the tangible effects of domestic violence within her work environment, Certain was encouraged to share her experience and process of healing with others. She has been married for over thirty years and has a daughter.
