Born and raised in New York City, she graduated with a bachelor's degree in journalism from Rutgers University. She has led seminars for the PEN/Faulkner Foundation in Washington, DC, and at Rutgers University. She has taught writing at UCLA and Agape International. Also an actress and coteacher of spirituality classes with Reverend Michael Beckwith., she currently lives in North Hollywood. Beckwith, Michael Bernard: -Michael Bernard Beckwith is considered a powerful force for change as one of the country's foremost spiritual leaders, founder of the Agape International Spiritual Center, and a featured teacher of The Secret.
