She was motivated to write this book because of the fascination her grandchildren had with the stories told here. She and her husband, Murray, have a small mixed farm near beautiful Meaford, Ontario. This story is loosely based on her own childhood experiences growing up on the Bruce Peninsula in a family with seven girls. |
