Contributor Bio(s): Goddu, Krystyna Poray: - Krystyna Poray Goddu has been a writer and editor for more than thirty years; her books include the non-fiction children's book, Dollmakers and Their Stories: Women Who Changed the World of Play. She reviews and writes about children's books for Publishers Weekly magazine and The New York Times Book Review. In addition to her writing and editing experience, she works in school libraries and teaches writing to middle-school students in New York City, where she lives.Kimmel, Allison Elizabeth Crotzer: - Allison Crotzer Kimmel is a literature teacher turned writer living in Bakersfield, California. She earned her Master of Professional Writing degree from the University of Southern California.Micklos, John Joseph: - John Micklos, Jr. has written nearly 20 books for young reads, ranging from poetry books for young readers to biographies for high school students. John loves the research involved in crafting a nonfiction books, and enjoys doing writing workshops with student authors. He lives in Newark, Delaware, with his family.Otfinoski, Steven: - Steven Otfinoski has written more than 150 books for young readers. Three of his nonfiction books have been chosen Books for the Teen Age by the New York Public Library. Steve is also a playwright and has his own theater company that brings one-person plays about American history to schools. Steve lives in Connecticut with his wife, who is a teacher. They have two children, two dogs, and a cat.Langston-George, Rebecca Ann: - Rebecca Langston-George is a middle school language arts teacher who also trains teachers in writing instruction. Her articles, poetry and puzzles have appeared in many children's magazines. When she's not at the keyboard Rebecca volunteers for the local chapter of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI). She is also a past president of the Kern Reading Association. The granddaughter of a fabulous flapper, Rebecca lives in Bakersfield, California.
