Publisher Description:
"OUTSIDER'S VENGEANCE OUTSIDER'S VENGEANCE OUTSIDER'S VENGEANCE OUTSIDER'S VENGEANCE " the chant of the sold out crowd repeats, over and over and over. The crowd cheers and yells in excitement as they await the encore. I can hear the roaring backstage. I am sitting on a couch in my dressing room, relaxing after two hours of sheer rock 'n' roll indulgence. Hearing "OUTSIDER'S VENGEANCE " the "OUTSIDER'S VENGEANCE " chant "OUTSIDER'S VENGEANCE " has made me realize, for how long I day-dreamed of having that rock 'n' roll life, and here I am livin' it; right here, right now Like the greats and legends I admire, I walked a long and winding road to learn if I was willing to sell my soul for rock 'n' roll. Mike Cook, guitar player and band leader for Outsider's Vengeance, reflects upon his career at a concert. He started out like any other musician, learning to play the guitar. He then attempts to join an already established band, MASTER MASTER (a Metallica cover-band). But when things go sour for him in the band, he sets out to form his own band, searching for the right musicians with the same goal in mind; create music away from the norm. From there on, his rock 'n' roll life takes flight (though, it's anything but a smooth ride; as turbulence of life does try to take him and his band off course). Mike and his band experiences what every other band experiences; musical band mates that don't work out, rivalry from a jealous band in the same local area, and shady record contracts that seem to be too good to be true. Mike and the Outsider's Vengeance's drive to make their own music their own way pushes them to launch their own record company. Their risk takes them farther than any other band, not in wealth but in personal success, as they accomplish a feat only a few bands in the history of music have attempted to do; make different kinds of albums that vary from their previous albums. Their success does come with a price, as tragedy occurs to one of their own band-mates. Does the band bounce back from the tragedy? \m/ is a fictitious rock 'n' roll fantasy, layered with rich detail and depth, calling out to every person out there that has had a dream of being future rock stars. This story is of one dream.
