This was done at the request of those persons directly involved, or their families, or the police of many nations. I do not believe it disturbs the integrity of the book. It is impossible to thank the hundreds of people who co-operated with me by sharing time and information, but I want specifically to express my appreciation to the police of India, Thailand, Nepal, Iran, Turkey, Hong Kong, and Greece.
