Publisher Description:
The basic theory is that Alexandria was destroyed because it was perceived as containing 'evil knowledge'. Knowledge had become tainted because it was 'too old', 'too corrupt', or corrupt by some specific theory, such as 'the corruption of magic' or 'the corruption of politics', etc. In one way or another, The Library of Alexandria is probably the basis of many of the myths about magic that remain in our history, when they are not obviously of a later date. Further theories can be added to the claim, such as: * What is it that makes the knowledge evil? * Is it the knowledge that humanity itself is evil? * And, could there be a reason for this? Now we can choose to select that the burners of Alexandria were right, and there was something corrupt about Alexandria, or we can choose a different explanation for the things which were determined at that time to be evil. This book contains three sections: Part 1, Spiritual Notes; Part 2, Interpretations of Ancient Greek Philosophy; Part 3, An Extensive List of Souls of Literature Attributed to the Library of Alexandria, allowing the reader to make up their own mind about whether Alexandria was evil, based on writings related to the Alexandrian approach to psychology.
