Publisher Description: In today's America, the church seems to have lost its footing and its influence. We see our leaders lie, cheat, steal, and desecrate this country. We watch as men and women are sexualized to entertain and advertise. Crime is pervasive in our streets and even our schools. Our country needs God's healing now more than ever, but are Americans justified in expecting God to heal this country based on a promise made to Solomon for Israel thousands of years ago? What is the relevance of II Chronicles 7:14 for us today? Can we extrapolate or "transfer" that promise to America?
