Publisher Description:

"The Widow's Might" takes us on Marjorie's journey into widowhood with the loss of the love of her life, Nicky. Thrust into the widow's world of unimaginable grief she victoriously takes us from devastation into the loving arms of Jesus as the Bridegroom. Writing candidly, she artfully weaves scriptures and prayers from her personal journal into every page. She writes beautifully with heart and passion.

We are taken on the full gamut of her struggles from making repairs on their old farmhouse as she battles grief, to God's throne of grace and the wonders of exploring Heaven through the Scriptures. The Bible comes to life as it is applied to real scenarios. We are taken into a vibrant conversation with God as He guides us, along with Margie, onto His path of new life, fearless hope and joy.

As God unveils His love for the widow in this wonderful book, we are all invited into a love relationship with our Creator that gives us strength and takes us far above the cares of this world. "The Widow's Might: is Found at The Throne of Grace Embracing the Bridegroom" is for any one experiencing the devastation of loss and all those who hunger to know God. His love is amazing

Contributor Bio(s): Osborne, Marjorie: - Marjorie Osborne earned a BFA degree and Teacher's Certificate in Art when she graduated from Stephens College in 1971. Receiving Jesus Christ as her Savior shortly thereafter, she taught art in public school until she started her family. Applying her creative skills and her faith as a homemaker and mother of three, she eventually opened a home daycare for preschool children. For twenty years she loved being surrounded by toddlers centering their activities on an awareness of Christ. Her life took a new direction when she married her second husband, Nicky Osborne, in 1995. She became his ministry partner as he answered the call on his life to preach the gospel. Serving as pastors and ministering in the Texas prisons, the Osbornes went anywhere God sent them to share the good news of salvation. It was during those years that she developed her gift of writing by preparing messages for the prisoners. Soon she was writing devotionals and prayers for their ministry partners as her love for God spilled out in written expression. After her beloved husband preceded her through the gates of Heaven, The Widow's Might: Is Found at the Throne of Grace Embracing the Bridegroom became her first published work as a memorial to God's restoring power in the face of tragedy and loss.
