Les Neufeld has been an ardent woodworker since childhood. With early training in the logging and lumber industry, he later became a machinist and went on to earn a master's degree in education. He received his woodworking and design training at the British Columbia Institute of Technology. Author of Tremendous Toy Trucks (Taunton Press, 2001) and Making Toys that Teach (Taunton Press, 2003), Les lives in Quesnel, British Columbia.
