Kemp, a New Orleans native, writes about New Orleans and Louisiana for a number of regional and national magazines, including Art antiques, ARTNews, American Artist, Louisiana Life, and Louisiana Cultural Vistas . He is deputy director of the Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities. Currently a resident of Covington, Louisiana, Mr. Kemp is also the author of several books, including Alan Flattmannís French Quarter Impressions, published by Pelican.Flattmann, Alan: -

Alan Flattmann is a native New Orleanian who studied at the John McCrady Art School on a New Orleans Art Association scholarship. Flattmann is a recipient of the American Artist Art Masters Award for pastels and the Master Pastelist distinction by the Pastel Society of America. His works are treasured pieces of numerous public, private, and corporate art collections.
