Contributor Bio(s): Garbe, Suzanne: - Suzanne Garbe has been writing for fun ever since elementary school, when she wrote a series of mystery stories starring her two best friends. Now, as an adult, she's the author of several children's books as well as published essays about her life experiences. She is currently writing a memoir about her experiences living and teaching in Burkina Faso, West Africa, where she spent two years as a Peace Corps volunteer. In addition to writing, Kara loves traveling, camping, teaching, and eating international food. She grew up in Virginia, but now lives in Minnesota with her husband, two stepsons, and a lot of houseplants.Gitlin, Martin William: - Marty Gitlin is a freelance writer based in Cleveland, Ohio. He has written many educational books and has won nearly 50 awards during his 25 years as a writer, including first place for general excellence from the Associated Press. He and his wife have three children.Chandler, Matt: - Matt Chandler is a newspaper editor and freelance journalist from New York.
