In an effort to pay it forward and leave a legacy for community involvement, Edie founded the Edie Hand Foundation after the loss of her three young brothers and her numerous battles with cancer and living with chronic illness. Her foundation helps to benefit The Children's Hospital of Alabama, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN and assists with education and supplies for the orphans in Asia through the Ramini Kids foundation.
