Contributor Bio(s): Richards, Dahlia: - Graduating with a Masters in Bilingual Education, Dahlia currently teaches third grade in Evanston, Illinois. Her family emigrated from Jamaica in 1987 and she was able to visit Jamaica for vacations every year. Reading has always been a very important part of her life, as well as a way for her to experience other cultures. She decided to write to share her experience of leaving her homeland and living in a culture very different from her own. This is her first book. |
