Contributor Bio(s): Peil, Gordon: - Gordon Peil has delighted his family and friends for over seventy years with his artwork. His retirement from Washington broadcast media coincided with the birth of his first grandchild. Gordon enlisted these new arrivals to beta test each of his children's books. A supporting character the grandchildren find captivating often becomes the main character of the next book (they seem to prefer bears, foxes, and garbage trucks). This team effort has produced more than twentynine finished books in the first few years of grandpagrandchild collaboration. Gordon lives in a treehouse in Great Falls, Virginia, with his wife, and a hop, skip, and a jump away from all his children and grandchildren. Visit him online at www.gordonpeil.com! |
