Publisher Description:

Scat and Tiger love running a deli, serving sandwiches to the rest of the cats in the neighborhood in exchange for feathers and yarn. As Tiger would say: "Feathers and yarn are very important to cats." Things go pretty well until Tiger starts getting the orders wrong and they run out of supplies.

With the help of their other friends, Scat and Tiger learn important lessons about key financial concepts such as budget, cashflow, planning and savings. This fun and easy to read book uses the sandwich-making hijinks of these feline friends to teach kids about basic business math.

Scat Cat Deli: Order Up is a great way to introduce children to important life lessons about business and financial concepts at an early age.

"Oh," says Tiger.

"It's restaurant talk," says Scat.

"Oh," says Tiger. "I don't get it."

"Sorry Plank," says Tiger. "Here is your sandwich."

"Thank you," says Plank.

"Order up," says Scat.

"Up where?" Asks Tiger.

"On the counter," says Scat.

"Oh," says Tiger. "I still don't get it."

About the Author:

Dominic Villari is well versed in the art and science of making stuff up and is often caught talking to things, especially when they don't work right or are difficult to put together. These pursuits occasionally spill out onto paper in illustrated children's books such as Sun and Moon, Bear is Hangry and The Yelling Monsters and fiction books such as The Wandering Princess and Talks to Things. He lives in New Jersey with his wife and daughter, both of whom have gotten better about knowing when he's making stuff up.
