Publisher Description: It has been a long time coming for this collection of poems to be published. As a teenager, Zee Carlz used writing as a coping strategy which allowed her to express her viewpoint of the world. As a young adult, she decided to use her words as a form of art.Zee has been writing poetry, plays, and short stories for over 20 years. She has performed in many places in the United States and has won several awards throughout her poetry journey. Zee contributes her own story as inspiration to gain knowledge in psychology and use the skills of words as a Licensed Therapist to positively enrich and empower the families who live in her community. A Licensed Social Worker by day and writer at night, she hopes to make her mark on the poetry world. As a storyteller in her own rite, she hopes to promote world healing by utilizing art and writing as a catalyst. Star Layne (Wishupme Art) has been drawing and painting for over 25 years and is still going strong. She specializes in pointlism, painting and sculpting. There is not much that Wishupme can't do. She is a full-time artist whose style is futuristic and is pushing the American black culture's further in imagination to the limit with beautiful visuals. |
