The fixture was always the highlight of the 5 Nations, as it was then. Invariably England came off second best, but it was always a real pleasure to see the great Welsh and British Lions stars of the day; the likes of Barry John, JPR Williams, JJ Williams, Phil Bennett, Gareth Edwards and Gerald Davies to mention just a few.
