Spending time with the ridiculous man was like riding a roller coaster. She'd come to town to re-open a long forgotten business, and the repair and construction work required was intimidating. Quite frankly, she just didn't have the time or patience to deal with him, and she had the to-do lists to prove it. But damned if he wasn't managing to wiggle his way into her heart.
