Publisher Description:
All across America the issues relating to pre-marital sex, common-law marriage, or same-sex marriage continues to be viewed as acceptable through the eyes of wounded and fragmented souls. Needless to say, these "soul-sick" relationships quickly face the nightmare of becoming spiritually connected to each other's painful historical soul-ties and soul-robbing weaknesses. Pornography and men on the down-low is considered a taboo due to the massive types of sexual sins in the world today. First of all, sex (sexual intimacy) was created by God for protective purposes, physical enjoyment, and the demonstration of intimacy between a husband and a wife. It is a proven fact that men who have been sexually abused have become weak (spiritually bent) to sinful acts of rape, incest, pornography, and masturbation to the point that they expect women to accept or participate in their perverted fantasies. The Bible clearly teaches us that our minds are as important to God as our bodies are and that we are to remain pure in both. It's a sad thing to witness men (supposedly Christian men) in the church who we entrust our sons and daughters to lead them according to the will of God, but instead they boldly "prey" on their innocence and not "pray" against sexual immorality The Greek word for "immorality" is porneia which means illicit sexual intercourse, i.e., fornication, homosexuality, lesbianism, bestiality, etc. The English word for "pornography" is derived from this Greek word. I Thessalonians 4:4 tell us: "That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification honour." Again, sexual immorality is porneia. The reference in verse four to "his vessel" is to having a wife or husband so that fornication and sexual immorality would be avoided
