This interest led him to get a degree in History from Yale University. While living in Los Angeles, at both the Doctor's House (a restored Victorian house) and the Heritage Square Museum (a restored Victorian Village) as a lecturer, interpreter, and historical researcher. He and his family live in Connecticut.
