Contributor Bio(s): Zabel, Vivian: - Vivian Zabel always told stories to her siblings and friends from the time she could talk. As soon as she could write, she put those stories on paper. After she had children, she told and read stories to them, but her children's stories became more important when grandchildren and then great-grandchildren wanted to hear them. Louie the Duck became a character in a series of adventures for her grandsons, three Zabel brothers. Every time she visited, they wanted another Louie story. She began to write them when they wanted a repeat of an earlier story. Now, she has twenty-two different Louie the Duck stories ready to be shared. Vivian Zabel lives in Edmond, Oklahoma, with her black cat, Panther, who has his own series of books.
