His plays have been included in the curriculum of the bachelor's level in Nepali subject by Tribhuvan University and Mid-Western University of Nepal. In the history of Nepalese theater, Mr. Krishna Shah Yatri is the first to introduce sign drama (deaf sign language play) among Nepalese audience. He is founder and director of Jyotipunja Sign Theatre of Nepal. Similarly, he also contributes to Nepalese children's theater as a playwright, teacher and director. He has received very glorious, national and international level awards and commendations as playwright and drama director. Mr. Yatri was born and raised in Nepal. He has completed master's degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from Tribhuvan University. He currently involves in doctoral research (Ph.D.). As recognition of his talent and academic excellence in Nepalese drama and literature, the Nepal Government nominated him as member of Nepal Academy of Music and Drama from 2010 to 2014. He also involves in different literary organizations within Nepal and abroad. Krishna Shah Yatri is well familiar with the soul of the theater. He knows the challenge of his times. For more than two and a half decade now, he has been searching for himself, albeit in experiments, in plays. He has always sided with the contemporary difficulty and challenges of the play. His sharp engagement with all aspects of the drama - writing, directing, acting and contemplating - is in itself a meaning, at whose background, there exists the flame of an invincible revolt. In his plays, we can detect the voice of contemporary time, experimental consciousness and postmodern touch. He has adopted several stylistic strategies, besides writing, to carry forward his theatrical journey in a more powerful and effective way. It's the stylistic originality of Mr. Yatri to give each of his characters a memorable personality and land the dramatic conflict in a brilliant way. In his plays, we don't merely find dramatic elements; we also find the multiple aspects of poetry, music and painting in them.
