Publisher Description:

I am a long-distance runner, Poland's record holder in a six-day run (630 km). When I came back from my amazing trip to Bali, I decided to write down what I had seen and experienced, even if only for myself. This is how I got the idea to write this book. It is a book that also says a little, albeit not much, about running.

'B for Bali' is an account of my solo journey through a tiny patch of Indonesia, a story about what I was afraid of in Bali, and what made me shed a tear or two. I share with you what I saw, why I couldn't sleep, and what I found enchanting or surprising. I also write what I haven't seen yet, what I would like to see, and what I will remember to do on my next trip to this place.

In a nutshell, I experienced an earthquake, a visit with a shaman, one sunrise at sea with dolphins, and one on the top of a volcano. I saw snakes being prepared for a family dinner, lost my payment card, and took a waterfall slide. This is also where I snorkelled for the first time in my life and sang with the people of Gili by the fire.
