Publisher Description: This book was created to give an inside look of the lives of lack Americans across the United States. Regarding the recent events plaguing the country, I thought it was necessary for a modern day look at Americans who have been described and viewed as something less than who they are or what they represent. Allow me to introduce you to some of the great individuals I have the honor and pleasure of calling family and friends. I have been greatly saddened by the actions we have had to take as Americans in 2020. Although, some may think they are not beneficial, enough is enough. We as a people have endured so many senseless responses to the black community in reference to equality and discrimination. The most recent act that caused a worldwide outcry for justice for all human beings, was enough to set the world on fire. I too stand with the majority and use my writings as an outlet. It's imperative for everyone to accept black lives matter and in turn this will set the tone for all lives matter. I can speak from a multitude of different perspectives and explain my concerns in each avenue in detail. I have experienced discrimination from family members, peers and colleagues throughout my life. A never ending cycle is what I like to refer to it as. Although we may not look alike we come from the same pedigree that has been instilled and influenced in our lives from the beginning regardless of the teachings. Until one accord is met, all eyes are opened and willing to accept the disease of hatred that's maintained in our blood, no peace or justice will be had for any human being. |
