This time around, the joeys Rufus and Yip have tumbled head-first into a world of scary monsters and evil creatures Leo says everything is just decorations, but Zik has thrown himself into the spookiness of the season. When it seems like Zik, Leo, and their human Missy have been taken over by the evil creatures, the joeys don't know where to turn As days go by, Yip notices that even Rufus is starting to participate in the spooky antics and activities. The frightening events reach a climax when Missy takes the sugar gliders to a Halloween party at her family's house. There, Zik, Leo, and even Rufus are joining in the fun and making new creature-shaped friends. Yip, however, refuses to buy it all as fake.
