| Publisher Description: "A Treatise on the Yoga Philosophy" by Dr. N.C.Paul, G.M.C., Doctor assistant surgeon was first published as a booklet in 1850. The second edition was published in 1883 by the Indian Echo Press, Calcutta, and is preserved at the British Library. There was a third edition of the booklet, published in 1888, by the Bombay Theosophical Publishing House Fund Tukaran Tarya. The present compilation provides the version of The Treatise printed seriatim, in the magazine The Theosophist, with commentaries by Helena Petrovna Blavatsky (1831-1891). |
