Reviewed by Horn Book Guide Reviews (Horn Book Guide Reviews 2010 Fall)
Because Mama Bear works hard doing the cooking and cleaning, Papa Bear and the cubs take her out to dinner. The restaurant dinner turns out to be almost as much trouble as a meal at home, but there are no dishes to wash. As is typical of the series, the moral takes precedence over story, and traditional gender roles prevail. Copyright 2010 Horn Book Guide Reviews.
