Contributor Bio(s): Phipps, Paula: - Paula Phipps holds degrees in art history, history, and the history of decorative arts and has spent her career working in museums. She taught for and was assistant director of a graduate program in the history of decorative arts in Washington D.C. Currently living in Salem, Massachusetts, she works for Historic New England and is an independent researcher and historian. |
