This book attempts to give a sample of the G-D's Divine Will and Wisdom, from the Torah, the Five Books of Moses. Firstly, a Torah text is given, Then an explanation by the Sages, either from Talmud, the Book of Jewish Wisdom, or from Midrash, the Book of Jewish Tradition, Folklore and Storytelling. And finally, my own summary of what I have learnt from the section. This is the way we Jews study the Torah: firstly, reading the Torah text, then commentary from the Sages, and then personal learning through discussion. Now I have not been able to include everything. It would take a book of 400 + pages to do that. But there are many ideas and stories that are probably not accessible in Malawi included here, and. I hope that you enjoy it, will find the book informative, and it will help you to spread G-D's Word. |
