But the British decide to change strategy and tactics and prepare the largest invasion force ever to attack the American Winter Quarters, Valley Forge. George Washington struggles into Winter camp after a series of losses. He herds a depleted force, very little supplies and almost no shelter into a forsaken valley. Additionally, he must deal with deserters, disease completed deployments and a corrupt congress. He is oblivious to the danger building twenty miles south in the city of Philadelphia.
