She has been interested in painting for most of her life, having been inspired by her mother's fine art. She was also encouraged and supported in her art by her mother in law. She is a keen observer of nature and the world around her. This is her first published work and she foresees many more such projects in the future.Slaughter, Michael R.: - Author Michael Slaughter began his career as a Fifth grade schoolteacher in Jefferson County Kentucky. As an elementary school teacher he developed an Individualized Reading Program for his students. He also read a chapter from a suitable book to the class each day before the lunch period. He read to his own children each night at bedtime. He knew what life was like on a small family farm and had always been interested in Thoroughbred Racing.
