Publisher Description:

University Physics with Modern Physics teaches students the fundamentals of physics through interesting, timely examples, a logical and consistent approach to problem solving, and an outstanding suite of online tools and exercises. University Physics with Modern Physics weaves exciting, contemporary physics throughout the text with coverage of the most recent research by the authors and others in areas such as energy, medicine, and the environment. These contemporary topics are explained in a way that your students will find real, interesting, and motivating.

McGraw Hill's Connect, is also available as an optional, add on item. Connect is the only integrated learning system that empowers students by continuously adapting to deliver precisely what they need, when they need it, how they need it, so that class time is more effective. Connect allows the professor to assign homework, quizzes, and tests easily and automatically grades and records the scores of the student's work. Problems are randomized to prevent sharing of answers and may also have a multi-step solution which helps move the students' learning along if they experience difficulty.

Online Labs for Physics:

Online Labs for Physics is a fully-online lab experience that can be used as an online lab replacement, preparation, supplement or make-up lab to bridge the gap between lab and lecture. These 24 simulations help a student learn the practical and conceptual skills needed, then check for understanding and provide feedback. With pre-lab and post-lab assessment available and editable, instructors can customize each assignment within Connect(R).
