Contributor Bio(s): Kendall, Carol: - Carol Kendall (1917-2012) was born in in Bucyrus, Ohio, and lived much of her life there. She was the author of more than half a dozen much-loved novels for young readers, including The Gammage Cup, a Newbury Honor book, and its sequel, The Whisper of Glocken.
