Publisher Description:

The author, Elizabeth Young, wants to target the young reader and to help inspire and encourage the retention of imagination, the magic of illustration, and the joy of reading that hopefully matures into the love of books from an early age. Elizabeth also hopes that the older readers, who read to the younger audience, can recapture the magic of the book through their ability to find their own magic within.

Contributor Bio(s): Young, Elizabeth: - Elizabeth Young is a new Canadian author who found her inspiration to write a children's book when she was sewing quilts and duvet covers for her grandsons. The quilt appliqué was the powerful Elk. It was not enough that the children receive quilts for Christmas, so she made the quilts magical by incorporating a storybook that would capture the imagination of her beloved wee ones and at the same time encourage the gift of reading and writing for their young minds. Elizabeth has written unpublished poetry and stories since she was 15 years of age, and she hopes to add more of her writings to bookstore shelves in the future.
