He has a PhD in theology from Southern Methodist University and a master's in theology from Fuller Theological Seminary. He is the author of The Holy Spirit and the Renewal of All Things (Wipf & Stock, 2007) and has taught at two seminaries. David is an advocate for people on the margins.
