Contributor Bio(s): Prodger, Phillip: - Phillip Prodger is the Lisette Model/Joseph G. Blum Fellow in history of photography at the National Gallery of Canada. He received a Ph.D. in history of art from the University of Cambridge, a Master's from Stanford University and a B.A. from Williams College. The author of many articles, he is editor of Impressionist Camera: Pictorial Photography in Europe 1888-1918, and author of Time Stands Still: Muybridge and the Instantaneous Photography Movement. His book Darwin's Camera will be published in 2007. |
