This book is a compilation of those travels. How did I arrive at each park? Were there entrance/parking fees? When was each park unit authorized? What is there to see and do? A large part of each chapter focuses on the history and significance of the respective park unit. To add some flavor to the mix, a related story about Baseball is included in each chapter. A guess as to whether someone can catch a baseball thrown from the top of the Washington Monument? It has been tried. Chapter 26 has the result.
